A 2021 wall calendar with current and past photos of Irwin is being sold by an Irwin business group.

“The initial response has been great,” said Michael Pochan, a member of the nonprofit Irwin Business & Professional Association, which is selling the 11-by-17-inch calendar for $15.

The calender will be available beginning Dec. 4 in downtown Irwin at Woleslagle’s Interiors and Feathers Artist Market on Fourth Street; and Candy’s Corner and the Norwin Chamber of Commerce, both on Main Street. The calendars also will be available on eBay for $15, plus $4 for shipping costs, Pochan said.

Proceeds from the sale will help the organization generate some revenue in a year when so many events were canceled or altered because of the covid-19 pandemic. The IBPA sponsors events held annually in downtown Irwin, such as a car cruise, craft shows, ladies night and Gig on Main.

“Just like many other small businesses, we are trying to innovate and launch new product,” Pochan said.
