Someone will be able to finance quite the summer vacation after purchasing a prize-winning lottery ticket worth more than $360,000 in Murrysville.

A progressive top-prize ticket worth $360,832 for the Pennsylvania Lottery’s “Strike It Rich” game was sold at the Sunoco fuel station and Choice Cigarette Discount Outlet at the corner of William Penn Highway and Berlin Farm Road.

The store will receive a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

It is the second top-prize “Strike It Rich” ticket sold in Westmoreland County in the past year. Another ticket sold in August 2020 earned the winner more than $153,000. The largest winning “Strike It Rich” ticket, worth just under $460,000, was sold in January 2020 in Allegheny County.

“Strike It Rich” is a $10 “Fast Play” game offering top prizes starting at $100,000. Prizes must be claimed and tickets validated before winners can be identified.

The chances of winning any of the progressive top prizes are 1 in 160,000, according to lottery information.

The Pennsylvania Lottery has 25 different games under its “Fast Play” category.
