State police seized 30 bricks of suspected fentanyl Tuesday during a bust in a Salem fast food restaurant parking lot, according to court papers.

Troopers said they learned the drugs would be delivered by Cerick Seibles, 23, of Rankin, around 2:45 p.m. off Route 22 to a person known by police. They reported Seibles drove into the parking lot and stamp bags of drugs fell out of his pocket as he exited the vehicle, according to court papers.

Police said they found 1,500 stamp bags of suspected fentanyl. Seibles was denied bail during his arraignment Wednesday morning and was being held at the Westmoreland County Prison on a drug charge.

He did not have an attorney listed in online court records. A Sept. 11 preliminary hearing is set.
