Do you ever find yourself wondering about the trees that provide shade as you sit in your yard or hike a local path?
Meet the park naturalist at 6 p.m. Friday at the beach house of Keystone State Park in Derry Township for a short walk to learn about trees, ways to identify them and more. This family friendly activity is free.

Don’t miss it
Multiple Grammy Award-winning country music star Ronnie Milsap will bring decades of hits such as “Smoky Mountain Rain,” “(There’s) No Gettin’ Over Me” and “I Wouldn’t Have Missed It for the World” to a show at 7:30 p.m. Friday at The Palace Theatre in Greensburg.
Milsap rose to fame in the 1970s and went on to 35 Billboard No. 1 country hits, six Grammys and crossover hits on the Top 40, Adult Contemporary and R&B charts.

Treasure trove
Dozens of dealers of quality antiques and collectibles will set up shop Saturday in Ligonier for Antiques on the Diamond. Hours will be 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
More than 50 dealers from around the region will display troves of treasures at tables and booths around the Diamond and on East and West Main streets. Merchandise includes furniture, jewelry, art, home décor, vintage clothing, antique toys and more.

Fair thee well
The 2021 Westmoreland Fair wraps up Saturday, with two special arena shows.
The Saddle Up Band will play country rock music beginning at 7 p.m. in the Excela Health Show Arena. Admission to the arena is included with general admission to the fair.
A demolition derby revs up at 7:30 p.m. in the Peoples Natural Gas Grandstand Arena. Admission to this event is $5.
General admission to the Mt. Pleasant Township fairgrounds is $7, or $3 before 2 p.m., and includes parking, amusement rides and admission to exhibits. Children 2 and younger enter free.

Whodunit?
Acclaimed forensic pathologist Dr. Cyril Wecht will discuss notable death cases during programs at 3 and 8 p.m. Sunday in the Lamp Theatre, 222 Main St., Irwin.
The former Allegheny County coroner and medical examiner, who came to national prominence for his critical view of the Warren Commission’s findings on the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, will explore cases involving Jeffrey Epstein, Laci Peterson, Kurt Cobain, JonBenet Ramsey, Sharon Tate and many others with host John McIntire.
A ticket is $40.
