If one of your New Year’s resolutions is to be more social, there are plenty of community gatherings to choose from this weekend in Westmoreland County.

Museum of Art vintage ball

The Westmoreland Museum of American Art in Greensburg is celebrating its 65th anniversary on Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m.

The museum will be recognizing years of art, fashion and music by hosting a fashion show curated by Jenna Lowe of Junie Moon Vintage and a dance party outfits and songs from 1959 to present day.

Vintage attire is encouraged but not required. The fashion show will be from 6:30 to 7 p.m., with dancing following shortly after.

A ticket includes a seat at the fashion show, access to the Studio 59 nightclub, hors d’oeuvres and a drink ticket. Admission is $50 for members and $60 non-members. For more, visit thewestmoreland.org.

YMCA coffee and conversation

The Greensburg YMCA is starting a new program series to encourage guests to discuss topical health and wellness issues.

The first Coffee and Conversation will begin at 11:30 a.m. today at the YMCA. The session will be hosted by Membership Coordinator Maryellen Haddock and is free to members and the community.

Cultural Trust wedding expo

On Sunday at noon, the Westmoreland Cultural Trust will host its first wedding expo at the Greensburg Garden and Civic Center on Old Salem Road.

Brides, bridesmaids, grooms and wedding planners can explore a wide showcase of wedding vendors, featuring the diversity of the county and surrounding regions. Guests can sample the beats of local DJs and meet caterers and cake artisans to begin brainstorming their wedding plans.

Wedding expo vendors include caterers, hotels, event planners, party venues, photographers, travel and shuttle companies, entertainment service, makeup and grooming services, invitation services and florists

Winterfest at the Winery

On Sunday, Greenhouse Winery will be hosting a winterfest from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the main winery in North Huntingdon.

The day includes a bloody Mary and mimosa bar, a cornhole tournament, live music, food trucks and an ice carving demonstration.

Community vet clinic

On Saturday, VIP Pet Care will be partnering with Pet Supplies Plus in North Huntingdon to host a walk-in community vet clinic.
