5 things to do in Westmoreland County this weekend: Feb. 28-March 1
In like a lion, out like a lamb?
No matter, March is upon us. This weekend at least, snow bunnies will still get some time on the slopes.
The rest of us can look forward to Old Man Winter heading back into hibernation.
Meanwhile, a weekend of entertainment beckons.
Lost … and found
Feeling up to a challenge for a good cause?
The Vandergrift Public Library will host an Escape Room fundraiser at 7 p.m. Feb. 28 at 128C Washington Ave. Teams of four to six will have to use their powers of observation, logic and team work to solve a series of puzzles to escape with the lost treasure.
Those attending must be at least 18 years old. Cost is $20. Paid reservations with a credit card are required. Proceeds benefit the library.

The 1966 musical is set in 1931 Berlin as the Nazis are rising to power. The story focuses on the nightlife at the seedy Kit Kat Klub, and the relationship between American writer Cliff Bradshaw and English cabaret performer Sally Bowles.
Songs made famous through numerous stage and film versions include “If You Could See Her,” “Two Ladies,” “Don’t Tell Mama” and “Cabaret.”
