‘Quarantine’ album release
Neon Swing X-perience will be live from 6-9 p.m. Friday at Bella Terra Vineyards in Hunker. The evening will be a CD release show for the retro horn band’s new album, “Live in Quarantine: A Virtual Evening of Originals.”
Recorded at a livestreamed show a few months back, the album features the entire, unedited show with 23 tracks. Clocking in at about 66 minutes, it’s the band’s longest release.
Copies of the new CD will be available at the show.
The band says there has been a slight delay in getting the album available digitally, but it should be available to stream or download on various music services soon.
Attendees at the Friday show are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on.

Movie under the stars
Fans of “Sonic the Hedgehog” can view the movie about the speedy video game character under the stars on Friday in Greensburg’s St. Clair Park.
Hosted by City of Greensburg Recreation Department, the movie will start around 8 p.m. at Robertshaw Amphitheatre near the park’s Maple Avenue entrance. The movie is rated PG and runs 1 hour, 40 minutes.
Blended and Brewed Mobile Confections and Kona Ice food trucks will be on site.
Some bench seating is available, but moviegoers are welcome to bring chairs or blankets to settle in on the lawn. A $5 donation per person is requested, but not required.
More movie nights are planned throughout the summer.

Why is it called ‘Helltown’?
Have you ever wondered how Mt. Pleasant earned the moniker “Helltown”? Join Mt. Pleasant Historical Society on a guided walking tour through the borough’s Historic District at 5 p.m. Saturday and learn why.
Guides will reveal the town’s darker history, including tales of deceit, jealousy and true crime — even murder. The Dark Side of Helltown Tour is appropriate for most ages; however, because of the dark nature of the subject matter, discretion is advised.
Tour is $15 per person, or free to children under 5 — although ear plugs may be advised for the younger set.

Try your luck
Are you feeling lucky? If so, stop by the Dryridge Volunteer Fire Department on Sunday for the second annual Basket Raffle Sure Tip Board Blowout.
From noon-4 p.m., there will be 50-50 and basket raffles, small games of chance and a sure tip board with a prize of a $5,000 Disney World vacation package. Other prizes include Yeti merchandise, a grill package, golf packages and gift certificates and merchandise from local businesses and restaurants.
Food, beverages and snacks will be available.
