Queen of bluegrass
“Queen of Bluegrass” Rhonda Vincent will perform with her band, The Rage, at 8 p.m. Friday at The Lamp Theatre, 222 Main St., Irwin.
A singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Vincent won a 2017 Grammy Award for best bluegrass album and was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in 2021. She and her musical family host the annual Sally Mountain Bluegrass Festival in Missouri.

They will rock you
Two concerts are slated this weekend at The Palace Theatre, 21 W. Otterman St., Greensburg:
• Killer Queen: A Tribute to Queen, 8 p.m. Friday. Hailing from the United Kingdom, the tribute group has been around for almost three decades. Singer Patrick Myers emulates the look and sound of the super-group’s iconic front man, Freddie Mercury. Tickets are $49.75-$59.75.
• River City Brass, 7:30 p.m. Saturday. The program will include music from the United Kingdom and the Balkan countries of Eastern Europe, along with the premiere of a newly commissioned work for brass and pipes. World champion piper Andrew Carlisle and Carnegie Mellon University Pipes and Drum will join in. Tickets are $24-$39.

Documentary screening
Screenings of the documentary “A Good Day to Die” are planned at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Saturday at The Westmoreland Museum of American Art, 221 N. Main St., Greensburg.
The award-winning film about Dennis Banks, founder of the American Indian Movement (AIM), provides historical context for the museum’s current exhibition of contemporary Native American art.

21st-century artists
A reception for “Artists of the 21st Century,” the annual exhibit of work by students in Westmoreland and Fayette counties, will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art at Ligonier Valley, Route 711 and Boucher Lane, Ligonier Township.
Held in conjunction with National Youth Art Month, the exhibit is open to schools that participate in SAMA’s Arts-in-Education or Artist-in-Residence program. Each participating school district may submit up to 25 individual projects and two group projects.
The exhibit runs through April 30. Museum hours are noon to 4:30 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays. A $1 donation is suggested to support the exhibit.

Wedding bells
Local vendors will be present for a wedding expo from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at The Venue Live in Live Casino Pittsburgh at Westmoreland Mall.
Vendors of everything from linens and florals to cookies will be highlighted. Visitors also will find information on using the casino’s new event space for wedding festivities, from the rehearsal dinner and welcome party to the wedding reception and farewell brunch.
