A North Huntingdon restaurant and brewery are teaming up to provide tacos and a salsa bar and alcohol at an ABBA Disco Party fundraiser for the National Kidney Foundation of Western Pennsylvania and Hearth women’s services in Pittsburgh from 7 to 11 p.m. April 15 at the Elements Event Center, 2000 Commerce Loop, Banco Industrial Park.

Salsa Sam’s Eatery will be providing the tacos and Quinn Brewing Co. will provide the alcohol and speciality drinks, there will be entertainment, with music from the band Swedish pop band, ABBA. For every beer sold at the event, Quinn Brewery will donate $1 toward the Kidney Foundation and Hearth, which helps families in need, said Sam Murray, owner of Salsa Sam’s.

The Norwin Show Choir is scheduled to perform its competition set from 7:30- 8 p.m., said Bridget Faulk Norwin High School show choir director. The choir also will have a trio singing “Super Trouper” and a “Mama Mia” sing along with the audience, Faulk said.

The show choir raises money for Hearth and Murray said he selected the Kidney Foundation because he suffers from kidney disease.

Prizes will be awarded for those sporting the best costumes in the disco-themed event.

The fundraiser is for those age 21 and older. Tickets are $25 per person.

Tickets are available through the Eventbrite website under ABBA Disco Party.
