Another store is shuttering its doors at Westmoreland Mall.

Motherhood Maternity, located past the food court on the second floor, is closing, according to posted signs.

Changes have been occurring at Destination Maternity Corp., the company that owns Motherhood Maternity, in the past year, including filing for bankruptcy and streamlining employees. In December, the marketing and media company Marquee Brands LLC acquired assets of Destination Maternity Corp., including intellectual property, e-commerce business and other assets.

Through the acquisition, Marquee Brands is planning to diversify women’s fashion and expand its online presence while evaluating aspects of the current business, including its network of retail stores, according to a news release.

Over the past year, several stores have closed at the mall, including two of its anchor tenants, Sears, which closed in March, and Bon-Ton, which closed in 2018. A mini-casino is slated to fill the former Bon-Ton space, dubbed Live! Casino Pittsburgh, bringing 750 slot machines and 30 table games to the mall.

Other stores that have shuttered include Helzberg Diamonds, Charlotte Russe, Gymboree, Payless ShoeSource, Verizon Wireless, Sleep Number, New York & Company, PacSun and Kitchen Collection.
