Students cross campus at Westmoreland County Community College.

Westmoreland County Community College has hired a lead instructor for its practical nursing program, set to launch this spring at its Latrobe campus.

Christina Drnjevich, an adjunct clinical instructor at Carlow and Seton Hill universities, will lead the new program — coming to the college with more than two decades of clinical and educational experience. She also volunteers with the Angels of Westmoreland Honor Guard.

Drnjevich is not new to WCCC. She earned both her associate degree in nursing and her licensed practical nurse diploma from the college.

Enrollment is open for the college’s practical nursing program at the Latrobe Education Center. To enroll, visit westmoreland.edu/apply or call 724-925-4000 to reach the admissions office.
