Two Greensburg women are accused by police of drug delivery resulting in death in connection with a February fatal overdose, according to court papers.

Jamie Lynn Dickant, 34, is accused of supplying a fatal dose that killed Justine Baker, 32, on Feb. 11, city police said. Baker’s spouse, Mary Elizabeth Crimboli-Baker, 33, allegedly purchased the drugs from Dickant, according to court papers.

Dickant was arrested Monday and is being held in the Westmoreland County Prison without bond. An arrest warrant was issued Tuesday for Crimboli-Baker.

Greensburg detectives said authorities were called to Baker’s West Third Street apartment on Feb. 11 and found her unresponsive. She later died at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital.

Crimboli-Baker told investigators they both injected themselves with what they believed was fentanyl and fell asleep, according to court papers. She said she made arrangements earlier in the day with Dickant to purchase drugs and picked up 12 stamp bags from Dickant’s Fox Hill Street mailbox.

Crimboli-Baker said she paid Dickant’s mother, Rita Dickant, $70 or $80 for the drugs, according to court papers. Police said they obtained text messages that indicated drug activity between Jamie Dickant and Crimboli-Baker.

An April 9 autopsy report showed that Baker’s death was caused by the effects of several drugs, including fentanyl, police said. She and Crimboli-Baker wed in a self-uniting ceremony on Jan. 31, 2019, according to their marriage license.

Dickant and Crimboli-Baker are charged with drug delivery resulting in death, drug offenses and criminal use of a communication facility. Dickant faces an additional conspiracy charge. A preliminary hearing is set for May 7. She did not have an attorney listed in online court records.

Rita Dickant, 62, is charged with conspiracy and possession with intent to deliver. A warrant was issued Tuesday for her arrest.
