Artist in Residence Fiona Avocado stands among some of their work at the gallery space inside Westmoreland County Community College’s Science Innovation Center in Youngwood on Monday. The exhibit is open to the public through Oct. 27.
Fiona Avocado, artist in residence at Westmoreland County Community College, visted the campus on Monday as part of the public reception for their work at the Science & Innovation Center Gallery.
The artist in residence program exposes students to a practicing artist through workshops and discussions.
An Art Market will be held Thursday when students and artists will offer their work for sale.
Avocado’s work will be on display through Oct. 27.
