Two Hempfield addiction treatment centers are teaming up to provide a community event at the MedMark Treatment Center in Greensburg.

Two Hempfield addiction treatment centers are teaming up for an event that will bring dozens of community resource agencies to one spot.

The Community Advocacy Resource Exchange (CARE) Community Event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at 1037 Compass Circle, just off of Roseytown Road near Lynch Field.

MedMark Treatment Centers and Clear Day Treatment Center have planned the event, which will include children’s activities like face painting, prizes, and arts and crafts. Stage Right! will perform at noon, and there will be live music, a pony and food trucks.

More than 50 community agencies will be on hand to share resources they can provide. Those agencies include Seton Hill Child Services, Blackburn Center, Habitat for Humanity, CareerLink and various other social service and support groups.
