A Connellsville man was killed in a Wednesday afternoon three-vehicle crash that left part of Route 119 in Westmoreland County shut down for four hours.

Fayette County Coroner Bob Baker said Joseph Baker Jr., 25, was traveling on a motorcycle when he crashed just south of the county line near Kingview Road in Bullskin. The crash happened on the northbound side of the highway.

State police did not say in a news release what caused the 3:20 p.m. crash.

Also involved were a Chevrolet Cavalier and an Infiniti SUV. One of two passengers in the Chevrolet may have been hurt, troopers said.

Both directions of the highway between East Huntingdon and Bullskin were closed while police investigated.
