A Connellsville man and woman have been jailed on accusations they were involved in the armed robbery of an East Huntingdon Township store last month.

William Nathan Lint, 35, and Melissa Ann Youler, 40, allegedly were in the getaway car when a third person robbed the Dollar General store at Crossroads Plaza at 9:56 a.m. Dec. 22, according to the criminal complaint. The robber, who has not been arrested, pointed a gun at a clerk and took $415, which was used to buy crack cocaine, police said.

Both Lint and Youler were charged by state police with robbery, terrorist threats, theft, receiving stolen property and simple assault in connection with the robbery of the Dollar General store.

They were arraigned Sunday before East Huntingdon District Judge Charles Moore and placed in the Westmoreland County Prison. Youler was jailed in lieu of $75,000 bond and Lint’s bond was set at $100,000.

They face a preliminary hearing before Moore on Jan. 16.
