PBR Pittsburgh, a country bar, is set to open at Live! Casino Pittsburgh next year.

Details have been revealed for a new restaurant and entertainment space inside Live! Casino Pittsburgh, a 100,000-square-foot facility to open this month in the Westmoreland Mall in Hempfield.

PBR Pittsburgh, the 10th in the Professional Bull Riders country bar chain, is a restaurant and bar that also offers a professionally endorsed mechanical riding bull, private VIP booths and the “best in country music,” officials said.

The concept is set to open next year as part of a second wave of openings.

“We want people to have fun at Live! Casino, and PBR Pittsburgh is going to make sure they do,” General Manager Sean Sullivan said in a statement. “It’s going to be a remarkable venue. Keeping the safety of our guests top of mind, we can’t wait to welcome everyone to PBR for a first-class entertainment experience when it opens next year.”

The restaurant will be on the second floor of Live! Casino, joining Guy Fieri’s American Kitchen + Bar and Sports & Social Steel City, which will have a 45-foot television screen for viewing sports along with several non-casino games such as a bowling alley, a golf simulator, ping pong and more.

The first floor of the $150 million casino will feature 750 slot machines, 30 table games and a FanDuel sportsbook. The facility is owned by The Cordish Companies in Maryland.

“Branded sports bars are a very difficult concept to sustain, yet 12 years after opening the first PBR Country Bar, our concept is still expanding thanks to an extraordinary partnership with The Cordish Companies,” PBR Commissioner Sean Gleason said.“We are thrilled to open PBR Pittsburgh at Live! Casino.”

PBR bars have nine locations across the country, including one in Philadelphia. Others are in Maryland, Virginia, Kentucky, Missouri, Texas and Georgia.

Live! Casino Pittsburgh, which has been under construction for most of the year in the former Bon-Ton department store, is scheduled to open Nov. 24 .
