Local residents sit on a hillside in front of a large outdoor screen for the Delmont Recreation Board’s 2016 “Movies in the Park” event at Newhouse Park in Delmont.

The Delmont Recreation Board will host another Family Fun Night beginning at 5 p.m., July 31 at Newhouse Park.

The evening will begin with live music by the Phisbins, with food from the Premiere Pizza and refreshments from Yellow Bridge and White Valley Distillery.

Guests are asked to bring a lawn chair or blanket for the music, which will be followed at dusk by a showing of the 1984 comedy classic “Ghostbusters.” The park’s concession stand will be open with popcorn, drinks and candy.

For the latest updates, see the recreation board’s Facebook page. The next Family Fun Night is scheduled for Aug. 21.

Newhouse Park is on Newhouse Park Road, off of Stotler Drive in Delmont.
