Delmont council will hold a special meeting Wednesday to fill a vacant council seat.

The meeting will be at 6 p.m. at the borough council chambers, 77 Greensburg St.

Council members are expected vote to fill the vacancy created by former Councilman David Weber, who was appointed mayor earlier this year. Weber was appointed after former Mayor Alyce Urban resigned in late 2025, after running unopposed and winning reelection.

Council also will hold its regular monthly meeting the following week at 6 p.m. March 11 at the borough council chambers.

An agenda is available in advance at DelmontBoro.com.
