A Derry Township woman was killed Sunday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash, according to the Westmoreland County Coroner’s Office.

Jennifer L. Krinock, 36, was driving a 2003 Acura RSX headed west on Industrial Boulevard in Derry Township just before 3 p.m. when a Toyota Camry driven by Marilyn Kondrich, 56, of Derry, was traveling south on Pandora Road, failed to stop at the intersection and attempted to turn left on Industrial Boulevard, the coroner’s office and state police said.

The two collided. Krinock was taken to Excela Latrobe Hospital, where she was pronounced dead about two hours later.

It is unknown whether speed or the use of a cellphone were factors in the crash, the coroner’s office said.

An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday.

The crash is being investigated by state police. Troopers said Kondrich had minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to AHN Forbes Hospital in Monroeville.
