North Huntingdon police investigate a crash on Route 30 on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2019.

One person was hurt Thursday morning in a two-vehicle crash on Route 30 in North Huntingdon, according to police.

A car rear-ended a triaxle dump truck shortly after 6:10 a.m. in the area of Thermo King of Pittsburgh and Colonial Manor Road.

The driver of the car was taken to an area hospital for treatment of lower body injuries, police said.

It was not clear if those injuries were life-threatening.

The crash briefly shut down the entire highway. One eastbound lane reopened around 7:30 a.m. after crews towed the dump truck.
