An Arona man is behind bars after police said Wednesday they found heroin, methamphetamine, cocaine and nearly $4,000 inside a safe at a Jeannette house.

Jair Deshawn Robinson, 28, who also has a McKeesport address, is charged with several drug offenses.

Jeannette and Penn Township police, along with state agents and other law enforcement, served a search warrant at a home on Harrison Avenue/Route 130, a main thoroughfare through the city and near the border of the two municipalities.

Robinson and a woman who has not been charged came outside around 2:30 p.m., police said. Authorities found a set of keys to a safe and a wallet belonging to Robinson lying next to each other on the living room floor. They reported in court papers finding drugs and cash in the safe.

In total, investigators seized about 15 bricks of heroin, 44 grams of methamphetamine, 11 grams of powder cocaine and 9 grams of crack cocaine, according to court papers. Police also confiscated drug paraphernalia and numerous cell phones from the house.

Robinson is being held at the Westmoreland County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bond. He did not have an attorney listed in online court records. A preliminary hearing is set for Dec. 10.

Robinson was sentenced in 2016 to four to 10 years in a state prison on drug and weapons violations in connection with an incident in Greensburg two years earlier, according to online court records. State Department of Corrections records indicate he was paroled in August.

He previously served 68 days to 23 months in the county jail in connection with a 2011 Greensburg break-in. Police said then that Robinson and two others pistol-whipped one man and threw another man down a flight of steps, leaving with an Xbox game console.
