Power restored after fallen tree blocked Route 993 near Harrison City

Route 993 between Manor and Harrison City was blocked at about 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 1, 2019 when a tree fell across the road. No one was injured but the road was closed while emergency personnel worked to remove the tree.

Electricity service was restored Thursday afternoon to a couple hundred customers in the Manor area.

A tree fell onto power lines on Route 933 in Manor at about 8:30 a.m., causing a disruption in that area. Emergency personnel closed the road about a mile from Harrison City.

Power had been restored by 2 p.m.

No one was reported to be hurt.
