Fire hits house in Derry Borough

Fire was coming out the back of a house in Derry Borough at about 6 p.m. Saturday, according to Westmoreland County 911.

By 6:25 p.m. fire units had the fire under control at 101 W. Sixth Ave., a dispatch supervisor said.

Derry, Bradenville and Latrobe volunteer firefighters were opening up walls and other structures to check for any further flames.
