No one injured when fire strikes Jeannette house

No injuries were reported after a fully involved house fire in Jeannette Saturday night, Westmoreland 911 dispatchers said.

It took five emergency departments to douse the blaze, officials said.

The cause of the fire in the 300 block of Chestnut Street was unclear.

Crews remained on the scene at about 8:30 p.m., performing cleanup and investigations.

Initial calls came in at 7:01 p.m. and emergency crews from these departments responded: Jeannette, Claridge, Grandview, Greensburg, Penn Borough and Manor.
