The Ligonier Valley Chamber of Commerce is kicking off the first Ligonier Valley Restaurant Tour as part of the annual Ligonier Ice Fest.
The “tour” will take place from Jan. 25 through April 30, says Ruthie Stewart, events and marketing coordinator for the Ligonier Valley Chamber of Commerce.
The tour will feature restaurants in and around the Ligonier Valley, while also offering passport holders opportunities for rewards while dining.
The town offers dining options ranging from rustic comfort food to freshly baked goods to fine dining, Stewart says.
While visiting participating dining establishments, passport holders can enjoy various discounts and perks, Stewart says, such as free wine tasting, free appetizers, free desserts, or 20% entree discounts.
Completed passports can be turned in to the Ligonier Valley Chamber of Commerce office on or before May 1, and their holders will be entered to win a $200 Ligonier Experience gift basket.
Passports will be sold for $5 beginning Jan. 25 at the Ligonier Valley Chamber of Commerce office, Carol and Dave’s Roadhouse and Abigail’s Coffeehouse.
“We want everyone to take advantage of this opportunity to experience and enjoy all tastes these wonderful restaurants have to offer, while enjoying our beautiful town and unique shops,” says Lauren Cassler, Carol and Dave’s Roadhouse general manager.
“This is a golden opportunity for locals and non-locals alike to come across a new favorite restaurant, rediscover old favorites and have fun completing the whole passport,” Cassler adds.
