Christi Lukasiak of Mars, Pa., a former “Dance Moms” cast member, hosts a self-help podcast and another centered on the former hit Lifetime show.

A cast member from the former hit Lifetime reality series “Dance Moms” was charged with driving under the influence after a crash in Murrysville.

Christina M. Lukasiak, 47, of Mars was charged following a June 27 crash on Logan Ferry Road near Remaley Road, according to court records.

Police said Lukasiak’s SUV left the road and crashed into a tree, and there was a broken telephone pole hanging over her Audi Q7 when they arrived. Lukasiak told police she’d had two glasses of wine and dropped off a friend in Plum prior to the crash, according to a criminal complaint.

Police said a breath test indicated the present of alcohol, and Lukasiak failed several field sobriety tests.

Lukasiak and her daughter Chloe were cast members on “Dance Moms,” which premiered in 2011 and ran until 2019. They left the show in 2014 following conflicts with dance instructor Abby Lee Miller.

Lukasiak now hosts a podcast, “Back to the Barre,” where she and fellow former “Dance Mom” Kelly Hyland talk about various aspects of the show. She also has her own self-help podcast, “Christi’s Couch,” which typically releases weekly episodes but has not posted since June 28.

Lukasiak did not respond to an email request for comment. Her attorney listed in court records could not be reached for comment.

An Aug. 13 preliminary hearing is set in District Judge Judi Petrush’s Export court.
