Former Monessen School District bus driver accused of possessing child porn

A former Monessen School District bus driver was indicted by a federal grand jury in Pittsburgh on charges of possessing child pornography, federal prosecutors said.

Jack Brian Laforte, 54, of Monessen is accused of possessiong videos and images in computer graphic files that showed minors, some younger than 12, engaged in sexually explicit conduct, according to U.S. Attorney Scott W. Brady.

The alleged findings happened on or about June 14.

Anyone with information involving Laforte is asked to call the Homeland Security Investigations Tip Line at 866-347-2423.
