The getaway driver who participated in three armed robberies in late 2018 in East Huntingdon and Scottdale will serve up to six years in prison.

William Nathan Lint, 36, of Connellsville, pleaded guilty Friday to robbery and other offenses in connection with heists at three local business over a five-day period between Dec. 19 through Christmas Eve 2018.

Police said Lint remained in a parked vehicle as Clyde Mensch held a clerk at the Sunoco in Scottdale at gunpoint on Dec. 19, 2018, and stole $257 in cash.

Three days later, on Dec. 22, police said they stole $413 from the Dollar General store at Crossroads Plaza in East Huntingdon when Mensch barged in and held another clerk at gunpoint. On Christmas Eve, police said Mensch used the same weapon during a robbery at the Dollar General store in Scottdale.

Following an anonymous tip police searched Mensch’s home and found clothing and the gun used in the robberies, police said.

Mensch’s girlfriend, Katrina Rogers, 47, confessed to her role in planning and participating in the robberies and identified Mensch as the man who entered the stores and threatened clerks with a gun, according to court records.

Following each robbery, the group purchased crack cocaine with the stolen money, according to police.

Assistant District Attorney Kelly Hammers said Lint cooperated with authorities.

In court on Friday, Lint was sentenced by Westmoreland County Common Pleas Court Judge Scott Mears to serve two to six years in prison.

Mensch last year pleaded guilty to 15 counts involving the three robberies and was sentenced to serve three to 10 years in prison.

Charges in two cases are still pending against Rogers.

A fourth woman, Melissa Youler, 31, of Mt. Pleasant, who police said remained in the car with Lint during one of the incidents, pleaded guilty to one robbery and other offenses and was sentenced to serve six to 23 months in jail.
