Angelo’s Cucina & Catering gave away 125 free spaghetti dinners Thursday afternoon to locals in Jeannette and Grapeville.

Donations from Candy’s Corner Deli in Jeannette; Ken and Jeneen Tomajko, co-owners of Tomajko Arborist Services; and Grapeville resident Dave Durzyk made the event possible.

Debbie DiTommaso-Huey, owner of the restaurant at 2601 Brown Ave. in Grapeville, said the dinners were a way to recognize her late parents, Angelo and Dorthy DiTommaso, who owned Angelo’s Ristorante in Irwin for 50 years.

Mel’s Cookie Creations, also in Grapeville, handed out cookies for dessert.
