It’s got groove, it’s got meaning.

It’s “Grease,” the spring musical at Monessen High School.

The auditorium will be rocking like Rydell High School when the musical comedy about 1950s teen love between greaser Danny Zuko and sweet Aussie Sandy Olsson hits the stage.

The High/Middle School Group for Performing Arts will present “Grease” at 7 p.m. March 28-30 at 7 p.m. and 2 p.m. March 31 in the school at 1245 State Road.

The production will feature the popular songs “Grease is the Word,” “Hopelessly Devoted,” “Sandy” and “You’re the One That I Want.”

Tickets are $14, $12 for students and $10 for ages 10 and under. All seats are reserved

Tickets can be purchased at mhsgpa.booktix.com and also will be available at the door until 15 minutes prior to curtain time.
