Greater Latrobe School Board will conduct its voting session on Tuesday as a virtual meeting, amid recommendations for social distancing to combat the covid-19 pandemic.

Members of the public who want to attend the session via web link are asked to provide the district with their name, physical address, email address and phone number. The information can be submitted by emailing robin.pynos@glsd.us or by calling 724-539-4200, ext. 11105.

Shortly before the 7:30 p.m. start of the meeting, a link to join the session will be sent to the email address provided.

Participants will be required to have their device’s microphone muted, except during “hearing of visitors” portions of the meeting that are set aside for public comment.

As noted on the district website at glsd.us, “an opportunity will be provided for orderly question or comment at the direction of the meeting monitor and board president. Any public participant that does not comply with these rules will be removed from the meeting.”

When visiting the Greater Latrobe website, pull down under the orange “School Board” heading to see meeting agendas and related information.
