Greensburg company will host Toys for Tots drive through Dec. 20
Greensburg company Advanced Fire will host a holiday Toys for Tots drive through Dec. 20 at its location on West Drive, just off Route 30.
The drives, taking place at 15 of its sites, is run through CertaSite Serves, parent company CertaSite’s charitable arm.
“At our core, CertaSite’s purpose is to protect and enhance as many lives as possible, including the youngest and most vulnerable among us,” said Jim Palumbo, market leader. “We take this mission seriously, and in these tough times, hope to bring some holiday joy to children and families in our community. At CertaSite, we are more than just fire extinguishers. We’re also a compassionate hand to those in need.”
The toy drive is open to CertaSite employees, vendors, customers, and the public. There are three ways to participate, including donating at CertaSite’s office in Greensburg (210 West Drive), donating online at CertaSitePro.com, or making a financial contribution to Toys for Tots.
For every new follower on Facebook and LinkedIn, CertaSite will donate $1 to Toys for Tots.
The toy drive runs from Dec. 2 to 20, with several CertaSite offices already close to reaching their goal.
The toy drive is CertaSite Serves’ second initiative. Earlier this year, the company collected more than 7,500 pounds of food and essential items as part of a company-wide food drive.
Held in response to the covid-19 pandemic, food banks and local organizations received the items in nine local CertaSite markets.
