Seasonal weather — brisk but not bitter cold — greeted hundreds of parade participants and visitors who lined Main Street in downtown Greensburg for the county seat’s 28th Annual Holiday Parade on Saturday.

More than 100 floats, bands, dance companies and fire trucks participated in the parade, which lasted more than an hour.

The grand marshals in the parade were two of the city’s former mayors — Scott Brown and the man who succeeded him, Daniel Fajt, whose tenures covered the 1980s and the 1990s. Two of the city’s more recent mayors, Karl Eisaman and Ronald Silvis, were unable to attend, but were recognized with a banner honoring them and others who held the office.
