Greensburg mom Adina North shared a snapshot of a heartfelt family moment at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Crabtree.

She and her family attended a funeral for their relative, John Barchiesi, 88, of Crabtree, at the church earlier in July.

North and her kids were standing outside when she reminded them to be gentle and respectful around the veterans’ memorial American flags.

The kids’ grandfather, Chester Barchiesi of Greensburg, is a veteran himself, and served in the Air Force for 23 years beginning in 1953.

North’s daughter, Destiny Marie Barchiesi, 2, gave each flag a hug and a kiss.
