Greensburg police are asking the public’s help identifying a suspect in a burglary Saturday in the city’s Northmont area.

An unknown suspect reportedly burglarized a residence during the morning hours and fled in a Subaru SUV.

Police described the burglar as a white male about 5 feet 5 inches tall with a medium build.

Police reported he has a beard and was wearing a dark, winter hat.

A neighbor took a photograph of a light blue or gray Subaru the man was believed traveling in that was released by police.

Police did not disclose what was taken in the daylight burglary.

Anyone with information should telephone police at 724-834-3800.
