Greensburg police are asking the public’s help in an ongoing investigation into a report late Friday of a man shooting multiple rounds from a firearm.

The incident occurred at 10:38 p.m. in the area of Grove Street and Spring Avenue, police said Monday in a Facebook post. No one was reported injured.

Police posted a video of the suspect in a light-colored hoodie sweatshirt fleeing the scene.

Police are hoping to identify a suspect who was seen on security video running from Spring Avenue to Mertz Way and then into an unnamed alley. The suspect then crossed Alexander Avenue and was last seen on Oakland Avenue near Rohrer Street.

Police are also asking area homeowners who may have outdoor security cameras that captured images of the suspect to contact officers.

All calls will remain confidential, police said. Anyone with information can call 724-834-3800.
