The City of Greensburg Recreation Department is looking for volunteer coaches to help run its youth football and kickball programs.

Volunteers must be able to pass a background check, and football coaches must obtain USA Football certification.

The kickball season starts June 18 and runs through July 25.

The football season starts in September.

“Our program goal is to create a positive environment that provides self-confidence and self-esteem through the experiences we provide,” the department wrote on Facebook.

Those interested in coaching can find forms on the city’s website or at the recreation department office at Kirk S. Nevin Arena at Lynch Field.
