Greensburg will spend nearly $300,000 fixing up city streets using state and federal funds through the Community Development Block Grant.

For the last several years, the city has regularly received yearly CDBG grants, each between $250,000 and $300,000.

Council allocated the funds to street improvements and blight removal as part of a three-year plan.

Last year’s $296,249 grant will be spent this summer to continue work on that plan.

Here’s a list of streets slated for repairs:

  • Fourth Street (Main Street to Westminster Avenue)
  • Maple Avenue (Otterman to Pittsburgh)
  • Maple Avenue (Academy Hill to Kenneth)
  • Seton Hill Drive (College to Harrison)
  • Talbot Avenue (Laird to Lincoln)
  • Walnut Avenue (Beacon to Park)
  • West Second Avenue (Pennsylvania to Westminster)
