The CEO of the Greensburg YMCA, Suzanne Printz, announced Friday that she will resign at the end of January.

Printz began as CEO in April 2020, leading the Y through the pandemic and stabilizing the organization amid staffing shortages and uncertainty for nonprofits.

Before being appointed CEO, she served as membership director.

During her tenure, Printz implemented a new strategic plan, led building and market analyses, and secured funding for needed building improvements.

“One of my mantras since taking the CEO role, was to follow God’s lead for the organization and for me,” Printz said. “I always told my board, when I felt it was time for me to move on, I would know; God would let me know — He has.”

Amid her decision to step down, the board of directors will implement a transition plan. Board President Sydney Beeler said the organization is well-positioned to move forward into its next chapter.
