Competitors will get a chance to get into the season by swimming, riding a stationary bicycle and running or walking on a treadmill this weekend in the Greensburg YMCA Indoor Triathlon.

The competitors will swim 400 yards at the YMCA pool, a nine-mile bicycle ride and a two-mile run or walk on the treadmill. The event will start at 8 a.m. Saturday, with the times for the various heats to be determined.

In the past years, the YMCA has had to close to 35 participants, said Suzanne Printz, YMCA executive director. This year, there are fewer registrants, but the registration is still open.

Entry fees for adult members is $40; non-member adult is $45; youth member is $20 and non-member youth is $25. The YMCA is located at 101 S. Maple Ave. For more information, visit greensburgymca.org or call 724-834-0150.
