Irwin

The Irwin Halloween Costume Par-tay for adults age 21 and older will feature food, music provided by AJ Entertainment and karaoke singing from 7 to 10:30 p.m. Saturday at the Masonic Hall, 415 Main St., Irwin.

The event is BYOB. Tickets are $12 per person plus fees through Eventbrite, or $15 per person at the door.

Ticket holders will get a meal of hot dogs, potato chips, soft drinks, water and homemade dessert. There will be several contests with cash prizes.

For an additional charge, attendees may have use of a photo booth, special effects creepy makeover and a raffle

Murrysville

Walker’s Pet HoTail will host its 15th annual Howl-O-Ween celebration at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Murrysville location, 4603 Old William Penn Highway.

There will be a costume contest, fall photos, a basket raffle and vendors. Photo fee: $5, benefits local animal shelters, cash only. Pets must be on a leash and proof of current rabies, distemper and bordatella vaccines, and negative fecal are required. Records must be brought in or faxed in advance. Reservations required. Hempfield

A trunk-or-treat will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Hempfield Township Park tennis courts, 220 Forbes Trail Road. Bring your car and the kids. Prizes for best costume and car. Registration required. Sponsored by the township parks and recreation department. Registration: hempfieldtwp.com

Manor

Halloween party will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Manor Community Room, 44 Main St.

There will be individual and family costume contests with prizes, a disc jockey, dancing contests, games and refreshments.

Ligonier Township

Compass Inn Museum will host its annual Halloween Hauntings and pumpkin carving contest from 6 to 9 p.m. Oct. 29 through 31 at the inn, 1386 Route 30, Laughlintown, Ligonier Township.

There will be tours and information about those who lived, worked and stopped at the 19th-century inn. Tours that begin from 6 to 7:30 p.m. will be geared for families with children and those at 7:30 to 9 p.m., with the last tour leaving at 8:30 p.m., will be designed for mature audiences. Cost: $11; 62 and older, $10; children 5 to 16, $7; 5 and younger and active military, free. Details and pumpkin carving rules: compassinn.org. Reservations strongly encouraged. Derry Borough

Derry First United Methodist Church , corner of Route 217 and North Ligonier Street, will host its annual trunk-or-treat from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 30.

Kids will go from car to car in the church parking lot to collect candy. The top three “Best Decorated Trunks” win a prize. Hot dogs, mac and cheese, and hot chocolate will be served in the social hall. There will be candy, games, and prizes. Admission is free. Greensburg

Halloween parade will start at 4 p.m. Oct. 31 at Lynch Field. Lineup starts at 3:30 p.m. and the parade will start near the bridge to the 5 Star Trail, off of the Aerobic Center parking lot. The parade will loop around Lynch, following the walking track, and end near the Kirk S. Nevin Arena. Goodie bags will be provided to participants.

4 to 6 p.m. Oct. 30: Latrobe

5 to 8 p.m. Oct. 30: Derry Borough

6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 30: New Alexandria

5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 31: Murrysville.

6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31: Delmont, Export, Greensburg, Hempfield, Irwin, North Irwin, North Huntingdon and Unity.
