PennDOT has announced the closure of Hankey Church Road and upcoming closure of Old Greensburg Road for bridge replacement work on Route 366 in northern Murrysville.

Work crews will be replacing the small bridge that carries Greensburg Road (Route 366) over Pucketa Creek between the roads that will be closed.

Hankey Church Road was closed on Monday, and Old Greensburg Road will be closed beginning Aug. 25.

The closures are to run through Oct. 27, according to Murrysville Chief Administrator Jim Morrison.

Detours are in place for both closures.

Another small bridge along Route 366 was replaced in 2017 as part of the state’s Rapid Bridge Replacement Program, a public-private partnership which addressed nearly 560 structurally deficient bridges throughout the state.
