Four varieties of beer from Westmoreland County-based Helltown Brewing are now available on store shelves in 12-ounce cans, the craft brewery announced.

Six- and 12-packs of four beers became available Monday in Western and Eastern Pennsylvania:

• Buffy Hazy IPA

• Hop Frenzy IPA

• Idle Hands Double IPA

• Mischievous Brown

Helltown Brewing started in Mt. Pleasant and recently expanded to Murrysville with the purchase of the former Rivertowne Brewing site in a bankruptcy sale.

“We are all very excited to finally have the opportunity to place six-packs and 12-packs of our beer on store shelves across Western and Eastern Pennsylvania,” Rob Johnson, vice president of sales and marketing, said in the announcement. “Once we are able to meet demand across these two regions of the state, we will turn our immediate focus to closing our remaining distribution gaps in Pennsylvania.”

Helltown acquired the building and brewing equipment in Murrysville with the plan to expand production. Officials have said they plan to resume production of some of Rivertowne’s varieties of beer in addition to Helltown’s own.
