CyberCrunch, an e-waste recycling firm based in Hempfield, is sponsoring an Earth Day video contest for children 13 and under, the company said.

Winners of the #CyberCrunchRecycling social media contest will receive a $1,000 cash prize.

“Earth Day serves as a reminder to us all that caring for the environment through recycling is vital to our future,” said Serdar Bankaci, CyberCrunch president. “What better way to commemorate the day than by giving students an opportunity to learn the importance of electronics recycling?”

Contestants should upload a 30-second video about the importance of electronics recycling to Instagram and must include #CyberCrunchRecycling in the description. The submitted videos should be related to electronics waste recycling. Contestants must also submit their video via the registration form found at www.ccrcyber.com/earthday/.

CyberCrunch’s panel of judges will select the two best videos. Both winners will receive a check for $1,000.

The contest will run through May 7, and the winners will be notified by May 15.

Earth Day is April 22.
