Hempfield holds its National Night Out event to showcase first responders

Hempfield National Night Out took place Thursday in Hempfield Park.
Local police, firefighters and other first responders were on hand, along with community mental health resources and more. There were food trucks, raffle baskets, a kids corner, student group performances scheduled, all to be topped offed by fireworks.
