An East McKeesport woman is accused of running over a man in a Hempfield driveway Saturday and leaving him there until a child asked a neighbor for help, according to court papers.

Cassidy C. Colbert, 29, was being held at the Westmoreland County Prison on $150,000 bail. She is charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, reckless endangerment and child endangerment.

Troopers were called at 10 p.m. to the home on Darragh Herminie Road where the man was being tended to by an EMS crew. His clothing was covered in dirt and it appeared he had tire marks on his mid-section, according to court papers.

Police said they believe Colbert and the man were fighting when she ran over him with her Chevrolet Cruze and fled. A 9-month-old child was in the car at the time.

The neighbor told authorities that a 3-year-old child sought help for the injured man, who estimated he had been in the driveway for about 30 minutes. He was taken to AHN Forbes Hospital in Monroeville. Police said he had numerous cuts and bruises and a suspected hip or pelvis fracture.

Troopers and McKeesport police found Colbert and her car at her home. She was taken into custody.

Colbert did not have an attorney listed in online court records. A Sept. 28 preliminary hearing is set.
