A Hempfield woman was sentenced to two months in jail and a year on home electronic monitoring in connection with sexual assaults on two teenage boys last year, according to court records.

Brandy Lynn Sturtz, 35, pleaded guilty last week to statutory sexual assault, corruption of minors and providing alcohol to minors. Police said she provided the boys with alcohol and marijuana.

Sturtz was sentenced to 2 to 23 months in the Westmoreland County Prison and three years of probation. She was given credit for time served since her March 16 arrest and was paroled to house arrest, according to court records.

State police said Sturtz sexually assaulted the boys on numerous occasions between June 1 and July 4 at the Days Inn Hotel in New Stanton and at her home. She was ordered to complete a sex offender assessment and counseling.
