Compass Inn Museum reenactors
Do you wonder how you would have done on the frontier? Here’s a chance to find out at the Compass Inn Museum. This weekend, reenactors will bring to life this fascinating period of Pennsylvania history.
Looking at the “edge of the frontier” in our region during the early 1800s, this weekend will include military drills and camps as well as demonstrations of home skills and slices of life from that time period. There will be some focus on the roles of women during the time period, and guests will see even more through hands-on activities.
Activities will be open Saturday and Sunday at the Compass Inn Museum, 1382 Route 30 East Laughlintown. To learn more, visit compassinn.org.
