Summer concert series

Everyone will be singin’ the blues this Saturday at Twin Lakes Park, east of Greensburg. At the Brian T. Rusnock Amphitheater in the Peach Plaza Expansion Area, attendees can enjoy an afternoon and evening of soulful tunes.

Starting at 4:30 p.m. with Blues Attack, the music will continue with Dan Bubien and The Delta Struts at 6:30 p.m. and Memphis Honey Blues Band at 8:30 p.m. The Outlaws food truck and Unity Brewing also will be on site to provide some delicious bites and brews for purchase.

The series is free, though bringing lawn chairs is recommended as seating is limited. Learn more at westmorelandcountypa.gov.

Party like it’s 1959

The Westmoreland Museum of American Art, 221 Main St., Greensburg, is throwing a vintage 65th birthday party this Saturday. From 6 to 9 p.m., attendees can enjoy a vinyl DJ, classic cars and an appearance by an Elvis artist. There will be vintage food favorites to purchase, a malt shop-themed cash bar and a build-your-own sundae bar.

There also will be guided tours of the museum, informational tables about the museum’s partners and tons of fun for kids.

Admission is free, but registration is recommended at thewestmoreland.org.

Led Zeppelin tribute

Take the “Stairway to Heaven” to the Palace Theatre, 21 W. Otterman St., Greensburg, this Friday for a Led Zeppelin experience you won’t forget.

“Get The Led Out” will perform starting at 8 p.m. They’ll focus on earlier Led Zeppelin, with plenty of deep cuts thrown in, and even feature an acoustic set of some Zep fan favorites.

Tickets range from $30-$70 for Friday night’s show. Doors will open an hour before start time. To learn more and get tickets, visit thepalacetheatre.org.

In addition to the automotive marveling, guests can enjoy food trucks, wine tastings, a 50-50 raffle and more. There will even be free Jersey Mike’s subs, while supplies last.
